Salvatore Antonio Gaetano, noto come Rino Gaetano (1950-1971), è stato un cantautore italiano considerato uno dei più importanti cantautori del panorama musicale italiano degli anni '70. Nato a Palermo, iniziò la sua carriera musicale negli anni '60 con il gruppo "I Ragazzi di Piazza", per poi intraprendere una carriera da solista nel 1968. La sua musica era caratterizzata da un mix di rock progressivo, cantautorato e influenze folk, spesso accompagnata da testi ironici e satirici che affrontavano temi sociali e politici. Tra i suoi brani più famosi ricordiamo "Azzurro", "Mio fratello è figlio unico", "Manifesto", "Senza una donna" e "Il cielo in una stanza". Gaetano ha lasciato un'impronta indelebile nella musica italiana, influenzando generazioni di artisti con la sua originalità e il suo impegno sociale. La sua vita fu tragicamente interrotta da un incidente stradale nel 1971 all'età di soli 21 anni.
