Blutengel is a German future pop musical group formed in 1998 by Chris Pohl, who was previously known for his work with Terminal Choice, Tumor, and Miss Construction. Pohl had left the band Seelenkrank due to contractual and legal issues. Blutengel's songs feature lyrics in both German and English, performed by both male and female vocalists. The band's sound is a blend of synthpop, darkwave, and industrial, with electronic and gothic influences. Some of their most representative tracks include "Dein Herz", "Lucifer" and "Black Tears".
