Apnea, al secolo Marika Costarelli, nasce come rapper e si muove soprattutto nel genere EDM/Techno/Deep House. Con il suo inseparabile occhiale da sole, prende parte alle Audition di X Factor 2021 aggiudicandosi 3 consensi su 4 da parte dei giudici con il brano “Flow”, in seguito si fa conoscere al suo pubblico con una serie di singoli introspettivi, molti di essi raccontati con chiave ironica e dissacrante. Il suo progetto musicale sembra avvicinarsi sempre di più al mondo dell’elettronica, pur non trascurando le rime.
