Biography

Nasce a Manduria, in provincia di Taranto, il 30 agosto 1993. Inizia a cantare all'età di 4 anni . Sin da bambina partecipa a numerose competizioni a livello locale. Nel 1999, a soli 6 anni, vince il primo posto della Rassegna canora "Verdi Note" con un brano dello Zecchino d'Oro. L'anno successivo conquista nuovamente il primo posto nell'edizione del 2000. Nel 2001, pur avendo solo 8 anni, entra a far parte della categoria giovani, in quanto vincitrice già per due volte di seguito della stessa competizione e si aggiudica il terzo posto. Negli anni successivi colleziona altre vittorie, sempre in competizioni locali e capisce che ciò che a lei piace di più, cioè cantare, deve essere studiato seriamente. Inizia il suo percorso formativo con i maestri Liaci e Micocci. Nel frattempo scopre il mondo della musica popolare e se ne appassiona, tanto da formare, con altri ragazzi della sua età, un gruppo etnofolk con il quale si esibisce in varie zone della Puglia. Approfondisce questo settore con vari stage e masterclass sulle polivocalità tra cui quelli con Lucilla Galeazzi ed Elena Ledda, nei laboratori formativi della "Notte della Taranta". La tradizione comincia a pensarla unita all?innovazione e quindi alle nuove sonorità ed ai nuovi arrangiamenti. E' così che nel 2007 fonda il gruppo "TARANTAMIX world-music-folk-band" del quale è unica voce femminile e con il quale porta in giro per l'Italia la solarità del Salento. Con questo gruppo incide un C D dal titolo "Alkìmie Salentine" , prodotto e distribuito dalla Phonotype Records di Napoli, che riscuote subito un notevole successo di pubblico e di vendite. Nel frattempo segue la didattica del maestro Nando Mancarella, dell'Accademia di Canto di Lecce, che le permette di approfondire le sue conoscenze musicali e di spaziare nel campo della musica moderna. Vince , come voce emergente, l'edizione 2008 di "Moda mare capelli" di Brindisi e si classifica tra i finalisti del ?Talento Festival 2009" tenutosi al Teatro Italia di Gallipoli. Passa a studiare canto all'Accademia Mousikè di Martina Franca con l'insegnante Connie Valentini che la apre al mondo jazz e soul. Prende parte a vari eventi musicali affiancando Anna Tatangelo, Paola e Chiara, Linda, I Vernice, Francesco Facchinetti. Intanto partecipa a vari concorsi, superando anche con successo molte tappe di Castrocaro e del Premio Mia Martini. Dal 2010 passa sotto la guida del maestro Michele Marmo con il quale incide un brano per SANREMO GIOVANI e con il quale ha collaborato per la realizzazione del suo singolo: "L'UNICA RISPOSTA PER ME" presente sui circuiti di YouTube con quasi 10.000 visualizzazioni in poche settimane. Frequenta seminari di formazione con il maestro Luca Pitteri e il professor Franco Fussi. Nel 2011 è stata scelta dalla Provincia di Taranto quale rappresentante per il canto, del progetto "D.O.N.O. -GIOVANI TALENTI IN TERRA JONICA" vincendo la partecipazione ad una serie di empowerment con personalità di spicco del panorama musicale e dello spettacolo, come Mariella Nava ed Edoardo Winspeare. Vincitrice primo posto Progetto D.O.N.O. - Provincia di Taranto, per l'incisione di un inedito in una casa discografica di Londra. ( Ottobre 2011). Dallo scorso maggio, dopo essere stata selezionata dal maestro Skipper, fa parte del cast dell' "AVE MARIA CONCERT FESTIVAL" con il quale si esibisce in tutta la Puglia. Ha collaborato come voce femminile alla realizzazione del brano "Burn me up" di Murcielago (hip-hop producer) uscito sui circuiti I-TUNES e su You Tube, dove in pochissimi giorni ha registrato migliaia di visualizzazioni. Dall'estate 2011 comincia la collaborazione con la MORAMORA PRODUCTIONS di NewYork per la quale inciderà i nuovi lavori discografici firmati anche dal prestigioso nome del chitarrista e compositore Dario Pinelli. Da novembre 2011 segue la didattica "Estill Voice Training" con Gabriella Scalise, Massimo Gangalanti, Beppe Vessicchio, Franco Fussi, presso la Scuola Professionale di Musica "L'Ottava" di Roma.
