Maikol Arcarisi è un cantautore italiano classe 1985. Spinto dal forte desiderio di trasmettere emozioni, si avvicina alla musica da giovanissimo, supportato dalla mamma, da sempre in prima linea per sostenere la carriera artistica del figlio. A soli 12 anni, Maikol rimane affascinato dalla musica romantica ma al tempo stesso ritmata degli anni ?90, come quella suonata ed interpretata dai Backstreet Boys, che diventano il suo punto di riferimento principale. A partire dal 2005, arrivano le prime richieste di esibizioni live in molti locali di Palermo e dintorni, che gli danno la possibilità di farsi strada nell'ambito della night music e di fare da opening act ai concerti ed agli spettacoli di artisti di rilevanza nazionale come Enrico Ruggeri, Andrea Pucci, Dominique delle Lollipop e di seguire in tour, in qualità di corista, cantanti come Luciana Turina e Daniele Esmeraldi (Amici 8). Proprio in quel periodo, Maikol inizia a lavorare sul suo primo album e nel 2012 partecipa al game show di Rai 1 "Un minuto per vincere", format televisivo condotto da Max Giusti, che gli regala una notevole visibilità su tutto il territorio italiano. Dal 2014 al 2015, Maikol si esibisce in diverse venue londinesi, come il Gilgamesh ed il Bunga Bunga, facendosi apprezzare anche dal pubblico inglese. Tornato in patria, continua a lavorare al suo disco d'esordio, "Illusione d'amore", un racconto in musica, pubblicato nel 2017, composto da 11 tracce, scritte dallo stesso artista, arrangiate da Daniele Lazzara e registrate presso lo Studio di Salvo Perino, delle emozioni positive e negative che una storia d'amore può far vivere, narrazione che si fonda sulla sua esperienza personale, all'interno della quale, ogni singola parola ed ogni singola canzone hanno il loro motivo d'essere. Ma l'esperienza vissuta da Maikol è la stessa in cui ciascuno di noi può immedesimarsi, ritrovarsi, perché i sentimenti sono circolari e trasversali, perché, nonostante la meravigliosa diversità che appartiene ad ognuno di noi, siamo tutti composti di anima e cuore. Al disco, seguono le audizioni di The Voice of Italy (2017), X Factor Italia (2018) e The voice of Germany (2018) e nuove pubblicazioni, come "Non so se amarti" (2019) e "Biancaneve" (2020), release che permettono all'artista non soltanto di riconfermare il suo talento, ma di essere seguito e sostenuto da professionisti della discografia italiana; prima con Red Owl Records ed, ora, con Pako Music Records, due realtà molto attente ai nuovi talenti, entrambe sublabel di Visory Records con edizioni Thaurus. Il 19 Febbraio 2021, Maikol pubblica, per Pako Music Records/Visory Records/Thaurus, "Se non hai da fare", un brano dedicato all'amore senza tempo, quello limpido e puro, che non ha bisogno di tormenti o fanatismi per colmare il cuore, perché è in grado di brillare della sua sola sconfinata luce, quella della libertà, la libertà di condividere il proprio percorso con un'anima affine. Una canzone modernissima dai valori retrò; quei valori senza tempo che rendono attuale tutto ciò che sfiorano e permeano, perché non c'è un tempo per amare e non c'è un tempo per dimostrare l'amore. Da quel momento, l'artista viene ufficialmente consacrato come una delle penne più emozionanti del nuovo pop italiano e la sua carriera è in continua ascesa.
