UDS rock, band indipendente di Torino, suona pop-rock e dal 2017 unisce la propria musica alle più belle immagini di alcuni Comuni di Langhe, Roero e Monferrato ambientando, nei territori tutelati dall'UNESCO, i video dei singoli man mano rilasciati sulle piattaforme e in radio. La band è composta da Luca "Last" Pintus (voce), Fabio "Sberla" Manavella (tastiere), Nicola Marchitelli (chitarre), Alessandro "Dandy" Bocchino (basso) e Marco "Pi-Groca" Roca (batterie). Nel 2016 Le prime canzoni nascono grazie alla forte coesione d'intenti, e viene registrato il primo album. È nel 2017 la partecipazione a "Tour Music Fest" e alla XXX edizione di "Sanremo Rock". In collaborazione con il Comune di Fontanile (AT), viene realizzato il video del singolo "La corriera stravagante", e parallelamente un documentario sullo stesso comune. Il video viene inserito nella manifestazione "Io Agisco" (concorso tra i 101 Comuni di Roero, Langhe e Monferrato promosso dall'assessorato alla Cultura e Turismo della Regione Piemonte), diventando un vero e proprio "video jingle" del Monferrato. Da qui l'inizio di una inedita promozione dei territori di Langhe, Roero e Monferrato, a cui gli UDS rock dedicano la propria musica e le loro migliori energie. L'anno seguente il singolo "Può darsi mai", nel cui video appaiono le immagini più belle dei comuni di Canelli, Cocconato, Fontanile, Moncalvo, Montemagno e Portacomaro. L'Amministrazione comunale di Novello, nel 2019, si propone come location per l'ambientazione del video di "Libera", singolo di svolta della band, le cui immagini, curate dalla "Event Horizon School", regalano scorci inediti di un territorio unico e conosciuto in tutto il mondo: le Langhe. Viene pubblicato nel 2021 "Movimento", con cui gli UDS rock si pongono l'obiettivo di portare l'attenzione, sulle conseguenze che la pandemia ha avuto su tutte le arti (recitazione, danza, musica, circo contemporaneo) che nei teatri trovano la loro massima espressione, al fine di ribadire che le arti appunto non sono un mondo accessorio alla società, ma il suo elemento distintivo e culturalmente fondante, da preservare e difendere. Le riprese del video hanno coinvolto la Fondazione Teatro Nuovo di Torino, il Liceo coreutico Germana Erba e il Teatro Alfieri di Asti, mentre la regia del progetto è stata affidata a Enrico De Palo. Si arriva al 2022 quando, grazie a tutte le esperienze precedenti, gli UDS rock decidono di fare squadra insieme ai comuni di Cocconato e Moncalvo, grazie alle giovani amministrazioni che dimostrano di avere tanta voglia di promuovere il loro territorio in un modo nuovo ed originale. Nasce il progetto "In Monferrato We Rock" e la band decide di proporre a Dodi Battaglia, una versione riarrangiata della celebre canzone dei Pooh, "Chi fermerà la musica". È così che il famoso chitarrista, con un cameo, diventa il protagonista delle riprese sulle colline dei due comuni e nelle vie dei rispettivi centri storici, ricevendo anche il titolo di "Ambasciatore del Monferrato". Nella primavera 2023 esce il singolo "Diluvio", con potenti sonorità rock-elettroniche. È settembre e arriva in radio e in digitale il nuovo inedito "Luna?" con un video realizzato in una cava di gesso che vede la partecipazione dell'attuale Sindaco di Cocconato Umberto Fasoglio.
