was vorbei ist bleibt vorbei
soviel läßt sich sagen
manchmal heult mein Schlittenhund
an den dunklen Tagen
Hab mich nach der Frau gefragt

ob sie manchmal an mich denkt
und dergleichen Dinge
habe ihr so manchen Brief
seitenlang geschrieben
keinen davon abgeschickt
muß noch etwas üben
Dieses Dorf am Rand der Welt
nördlich aller Bäume

schirmt im Eis die Träume
manche bleiben immer hier
manche zieht es weiter
mancher kommt zurück der ging
