Stefano Mengozzi, in arte Kaali, è un cantautore e rapper nato a Forlì (FC) nel 1989. Fondatore, con Hakim, del collettivo Hip Hop Realtà Distorta Crew, si avvicina al rap da ragazzino attraverso l?MCing, esibendosi in strada con battle di freestyle, per poi approcciarsi, qualche anno più in là, alla stesura dei suoi primi brani. Diretto, autentico e versatile, grazie ad un flow personale e scorrevole, riesce ad impreziosire sia beat old school che produzioni new wave, avvolgendoli con uno stile unico e riconoscibile. Nel 2020 esce il suo primo singolo ufficiale, "Eterno", che gli consente di farsi conoscere ed apprezzare da pubblico ed addetti ai lavori, tra cui la Red Owl Records, sublabel di Visory Records che, sempre attenta ai giovani talenti, gli consente di firmare il suo primo contratto discografico. Nel 2021 è il turno della seconda release, "Smetto dopo" e nell?estate dello stesso anno, dopo aver cambiato nome d?arte in Kaali, pubblica "Lei", una dedica d?amore in chiave rap, intrisa di dolcezza e romanticismo, che anticipa il suo primo omonimo EP, uscito il 07 Gennaio 2022: un disco introspettivo e sincero, che evidenzia la maturità autorale e la versatilità dell?artista. Eclettico, completo ed intenso, Kaali è una penna che disegna i tratti di una società che corre veloce, attraverso lo sguardo, analitico e curioso, di chi osserva il mondo per comprenderne e raccontarne ogni sfumatura.
