Morgan se réveilla. Essayant de se changer les idées, il alluma sa télévision. C'était l'heure du journal télévisé, la journaliste passa en revue les faits divers : braquages, incendies, guerres, et cette jeune femme sans histoire, sauvagement assassinée en plein cœur de Temantra...Une photo d'elle apparut à l'écran, et Morgan ébahi reconnu celle qui le hante. Il n'était pas fou, elle existait. Elle a eu existé...
Morgan se mit à penser à voix haute :
- Une fois de plus j'ai l'impression d'être sorti, sans contrôler mon corps. Pourquoi suis-je transporté ailleurs sans maîtrise sur ma personne ? Je revois ce visage qui me hante et m'implore en pleurant. J'entends la souffrance d'une femme agonisant. Ai-je pu agir inconsciemment ? La raison me quitte, la culpabilité me gagne. Je ne peux pas concevoir, je ne veux pas envisager la nature de l'homme...
Le flot de ses pensées fut interrompu par le son de son téléviseur, le journal télévisé était terminé et avait laissé la place à une émission musicale qui diffusait un clip de Furia. Etonnement les paroles semblaient concorder avec ses interrogations :
- Toute ta vie tu fus un mort, qui errait dans un décor, sans comprendre sans faire d'efforts, sans chercher à connaître les vrais désirs qu'attend ton corps...
Le morceau terminé, Morgan décida de se rendre sur les lieux du meurtre de la jeune femme. Prendre l'air lui ferait du bien. Avait-il quelque chose à voir avec cette histoire ? Il voulait des réponses.
