Quindici anni e lei si sente già in difetto con il mondo, il suo sguardo timido sfugge da ciò che ha intorno, parla poco per non farsi notare, lacrime silenziose come da dietro un vetro il temporale, le attenzioni dei ragazzi le ignora lo sguardo basso nei corridoi della scuola e non c'è spazio per chi è fragile la fiducia è come un libro a cui hanno strappato tutte le pagine, ma lui le parla con quegli occhi così sinceri e lei si illude di afferrare i suoi pensieri così nei bagni di un incubo liceale lui le promette amore ma lei non si lascia andare e lui la spoglia con forza, la scopa e con la mano le tappa la bocca e lei è sconvolta, con le urla che non trovano via di fuga un segreto si infrange nel silenzio di quelle mura.
Con la memoria rivive quella violenza, chiusa nel suo silenzio ingrandisce la sofferenza, quella lametta con qui ha martoriato i polsi scoprire che il dolore placa il male che meglio consci.
Non c'è più spazio ormai su quelle braccia per contenere i morsi della sua rabbia, beve vodka liscia e brucia come benzina una manciata di pillole di paroxetina lei stremata sul letto della sua stanza la mano che trema porta alla bocca ogni sostanza, è un mix mortale stringe gli occhi quando l'effetto ruba il fiato per respirare, lei sogna anche solo uno schiaffo per avere l'illusione che qualcuno si preoccupi ogni tanto, lei con la faccia di chi vuole sprofondare di chi spera che quest'alba sia l'ultima da guardare.

E quel sorriso è il riassunto dei suoi vent'anni è la rivincita presa con i suoi drammi, le cicatrici sopra i polsi le ricordano con quanta forza è uscita dai suoi trascorsi, e la pazienza è il miglior dono quanto tempo c'è voluto per fidarsi poi di un altro uomo, ma lui ha saputo aspettare, trasformare, quella diffidenza nell'affetto più speciale lei guardava fuori dalla finestra del suo dolore finchè le nuvole si sono dissolte al sole e se dopo la pioggia ritorna il sereno, l'arcobaleno è una cicatrice del cielo.
