Cristiana Polegri ha iniziato a studiare il pianoforte all'età di 10 anni per poi appassionarsi allo studio del sassofono alla Scuola Popolare di Musica al Testaccio di Roma. Benché si sia laureata a pieni voti in Economia e Commercio non ha mai abbandonato la passione per la musica e per l'arte in generale che l'ha portata infatti non solo al conseguimento del diploma di sassofono in Conservatorio ma anche a frequentare stages internazionali di jazz di canto e di sassofono con Mike Westbrook, Dave Liebman, Gary Burton, Maurizio Giammarco, Danilo Rea, Giovanni Tommaso ecc. Ha studiato canto e recitazione con Donatella Pandimiglio, Simona Patitucci ed Antonella De Grossi e allo IALS, ha frequentato corsi di danza funky e jazz con Marco Ierva. Ha studiato recitazione, partecipato allo stage "Acting on camera" del regista Alessandro Capone, ed allo Stage di recitazione di Michele Placido. È vocal coach ed insegnante di musica e di sassofono. Nel corso degli anni collabora, suonando e cantando in tour con numerosi artisti tra cui Mario Biondi, Franco Califano, Massimo Ranieri, Stefano Palatresi, Marco Armani, Little Tony, Marcello Cirillo, Gianluca Terranova, Charlie Cannon, Marcella Bella, Fausto Leali, Barbara Eramo, Carolina Brandes (Omp). E ha inciso cantando per varie produzioni discografiche di Francesco De Gregori, Loredana Bertè, Riccardo Fogli, Mario Biondi, Anna Tatangelo, Tormento e altri. Ha pubblicato il suo primo album da solista "Bindinjazz" sulla musica di Umberto Bindi rivisitata in chiave jazzistica, per il quale è stata ospitata all'Auditorium Parco della Musica, al Catanzaro jazz festival, alla Palma Club. Ha tenuto un concerto in diretta Radio Rai tre "La stanza della musica" dalla sala A della Rai di via Asiago 10, alla Casa del Jazz, all'Argo jazz festival di Marina di Pisticci, al Mantova Music Festival in occasione della serata di apertura dedicata a Bindi. In quella occasione sullo stesso palco con Franco Battiato, Antonella Ruggiero, Morgan, Renato Sellani, Bruno Lauzi, Ricky Gianco, Gino Paoli. È stata invitata alla seconda edizione del "Premio Bindi" di Santa Margherita Ligure come ospite e giurata. Ha ricevuto il premio speciale 'Roses Choice 2006' presso il Museo internazionale della donna nell'arte di Scontrone (Aquila), ed è stata ospite del Teatro della Tosse di Genova in una serata concerto in omaggio a Umberto Bindi "Il mio concerto". Nel 2016 ha realizzato il suo primo spettacolo di Teatro Canzone dal titolo "Brava, Suoni come un uomo!" scritto insieme a Stefano Fresi, Toni Fornari, Dado. Regia di Emiliano Luccisano, spettacolo che la vede coinvolta a tutto tondo come attrice, cantante, musicista e ballerina. Ha lanciato il suo doppio album dal titolo "Qualcosa è cambiato", con Irma Records, dedicato alla musica italiana anni '80 ed il disco "Two girls from Ipanema", dedicato alla musica brasiliana, realizzato in duo con Giò Marinuzzi. Oltre ad essere cantautrice, scrivere canzoni anche per altri, è anche insegnante di canto, doppiaggio cantato e teoria musicale. Il 13 luglio 2021 ha pubblicato "Meu Bebè Amor" singolo prodotto da Franco Micalizzi. Il 25 marzo 2022 esce "Uno scrigno di perle per la delizia del ricordo di mille fantastici amori e le trepide emozioni della vita" l'album che Franco Micalizzi ha pensato per lei e la sua voce, pubblicato da New Team Music. Nel 2023 è presente nell'album "Rapito Da Quella Dolce Vita Da Quel Mare Salato Da Quei Baci Rubati Negli Intrepidi Anni '60 Io C'ero...", album di grandi successi rivisitati e arrangiati dal M° Franco Micalizzi.
